About Mira Lagos
Mira Lagos - Its
name implies "view of the lakes" – and for good reason.
The shores of the magnificent Joe Pool recreational lake
practically lap the shores of the community in some
areas. Within its borders, a series of lakes, waterways
and fountain grace a 43-acre linear park while numerous
smaller lakes and fountains ripple gently in neighboring
areas, reflecting one of the most alluring lifestyles to
develop in years. Welcome home to Mira Lagos.
Mira Lagos is located in the southern part of Grand
Prairie on a Peninsula within Joe Pool Lake. It is
about 20 minutes from Fort Worth to the North West, 20
minutes from Dallas to the north east, and 20 minutes
from the Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) airport to the north.
It is a serene residential area with surrounding
countryside, easily accessible to shopping, sports,
outdoor activities, golf, fishing, school sports, etc.
To get to Mira Lagos, you can go south on Hwy 360 and
take a left on Camp Wisdom Road. At the intersection of
Lakeridge Parkway and Camp Wisdom, take a right for
approximately 6 miles, past the entrance to Grand
Peninsula, and take a right on England Parkway. You can
also take Hwy 360 to Broad, turn left, pass the
Mansfield ISD Sports Stadium, turn right, and a quick
left on East Broad, which will bring you in on England
Parkway from the west.
If you are not boating, waterskiing, picnicking, or
relaxing on Joe Pool Lake, you could be enjoying the
walking park on England Parkway, or one of the jogging
paths, or any one of three Amenity Centers with swimming
pools, wading pools, play grounds, and large grassy play
areas.
